A new school in Takeo, thanks to winery Hees! ( http://www.wijngaardhees.nl ) In the village of Muen Protsjan is no school. Thanks to winery Hees we’ll receive their wine profits of 2007 through Wilde Ganzen. Many thanks to Janneke, Jan-Willem, Nikki and Janneke’s parents for this great donation! We expect to start building the school by the end of 2009. Of course we’ll keep everyone posted through this website and the newsletters.

Many thanks to Piet Heijl ( http://www.pheijl.nl ) and his company for their annual financial donation, which makes it possible to pay the salaries of two English and one Khmmer teacher in the village of Chhuk. Also thanks for your help and support.

Also a big thank you to Eyeclarify ( http://www.eyeclarify.com ) for donating 4400 pair of glasses. With this we can organize a “glasses-day” once a month in Chhuk and some villages in Takeo. The demand for glasses is high. Many people have bad vision to none and often this problem can be solved with a pair of glasses, for which they have no financial means. Through our newsletters and the pictures on our and Eyeclarify’s website, we’ll keep everyone posted about the developments.

Foundation Gered Gereedschap ( http://www.geredgereedschap.nl ) is going to provide us with 220 tool-boxes, which we can use for our future vocational schools in Chhuk and Takeo. These schools are essential in the countryside of Cambodia. We’ll keep everyone posted about this through our newsletters and website.
