Cambodia faces significant challenges due to climate change, including erratic weather patterns, declining agricultural productivity and environmental degradation.
Support Cambodian farmers
Smallholders, who make up a significant proportion of Cambodia’s population, are particularly vulnerable. With this campaign, the Cambodia-Dutch Foundation aims to support small farmers in growing Moringa trees. Growing Moringa trees offers many benefits, including ecological sustainability and high-quality nutrition. Also, the trees provide high CO2 uptake which is good for the environment.
Our objectives:
• Provide financial support to smallholder farmers to establish and maintain Moringa plantations
• Promoting environmental sustainability and resilience to climate change through the cultivation of Moringa trees.
• Improve livelihoods and income opportunities for smallholder farmers.
• Improve nutrition and food security in rural communities through consumption of Moringa products.
